Bud Zecman is the founder of CSV Sales and has over 30 years of experience in the frozen food industry. It all started in September 1970 when Bud began working for a regional frozen food distributor in Detroit, Michigan. His experience proved invaluable when he decided to “break out on his own” and created CSV Sales in September 1990. Today, Bud regularly meets with manufacturers as he continues to search for Opportunity Buys®. Additionally, Bud spends a good deal of his time with United Commodity Group, CSV's sister company, looking for creative and innovative ways to process and add value to USDA commodities. It is common for Bud to be traveling across the country meeting with both vendors and customers. Bud believes that CSV and UCG have developed synergies which enable them to offer the industry more complete foodservice solutions. Bud's special interests include biking, sailing, reading and cooking.
